How were you discovered?
By a friend of mine Chris Philippo. He took a photo of me for the school paper and published it on Facebook. That’s where the directors of Elite Amsterdam saw me and asked if I was interested to be a model.
What does your career do for you?
To get involved with many people. But most important, to discover the world. I am still at school, and I don’t quit sure what I want to do after school. So modelling brings the great opportunity to discover different industries.
Tell us a bit about your most memorable shoot?
I don’t have a memorable shoot yet. But I have one shoot that I loved the most with photographer Martijn Smouter. The shoot was so much fun, the team was great. If I had to describe it in two words it would be: positive vibes.
How would you define your personal style?
Just my own style. I don’t have a name for it. I love to discover and try lots of combinations.
And what are some of the heroes of your wardrobe?
Hmm, difficult. My wardrobe is one superman. But If I have to choose, then I would go for my Doctor Martens. Because every day begins with a good pair of shoes.
Could you give us your best beauty and exercise tip(s)?
SLEEPSLEEPSLEEP. It is the best medicine. And hygiene, wash your face regularly. For exercise, don’t sit too long.
And what is the one beauty product you can’t live without?
For red spots, I use sudocrem. Its zinc-ointment. It’s the best for red devils.
Could you give us a 1-day food diary? What do you eat on a regular day?
I start with a bowl of oatmeal, apples, nuts and yoghurt. For a great start.
Followed up by a salad during lunchtime.
And for dinner, lots of vegetables and chicken or fish.
What are your favorite hang out spots in the city you live in (current location)?
My favorite hangout spot in Amsterdam is probably Hanneke’s Boom. It is just outside the centre of Amsterdam but you still feel the vibes of the city. If you had a long day, you only have to add some friends, and it is the perfect ending.
What is your favorite city and where do you like to hang out there?
I love many cities. But I think Amsterdam is my favourite.
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
Be confident, don’t think you can’t do it. Because the goals can only be made when you mind agrees.
What do you think MODELLIST-ID can do for the model community?
Modellist-ID is a perfect network to stay in touch with industry. Even when you’re off duty. And to discover lots of tips and tricks.
Any nice plans for the future?
After I finished my school I badly want to visit Japan. Japan, because I would love to visit a country where I don’t quite understand anything. Besides modelling I also love to enlarge my knowledge and to achieve that goal I would study some philosophy. That’s probably it, so far. Just enjoy every day.
