International editorial supermodel Julia Lescova shares her secret beauty tips in becoming mentally and physically healthier and her plans to grow big with her upcoming brand.

How were you discovered?
During a beauty contest in my country Latvia when I was 15, resulting in signing with a Latvian leading modeling agency, which led to the first contract with the agency from Milan where I went to when I was 16.
What does your career do for you?
Makes me money, makes my mother proud, gives me freedom and independence, opens doors to other opportunities in the business world and makes me meet great new people.

Underwater mermaid shoot :).
How would you define your personal style?
And what are some of the heroes of your wardrobe?
Tall over the knee Louboutin boots, various leather pants, various leather jackets, short skirts, and lots of fancy lingerie.
Could you give us your best beauty and exercise tip(s)?
Sleep well, don’t stress over unnecessary things, be positive and kind. Distance yourself from negativity. Workout regularly, have a balanced diet, take vitamin supplements.
And what is the one beauty product you can’t live without?
32 Breath Beauty Crystals. These crystals always keep my breath fresh and I don’t need to chewing gum.
Could you give us a 1-day food diary?
Morning: Egg white omelet with tomatoes and cheese. And coffee with coconut milk.
Lunch: Any kind of big salad that you like. With protein of your choice.
Snack: Fresh green juice when you have a possibility to get it. If no – nice healthy protein bar.
Dinner: Protein (fish or chicken or tofu if vegan) with many different vegetables. Steamed or grilled. For desert – iced coconut milk Popsicle. Healthy, light and delicious.
What do you eat on a regular day?
All kinds of things, whatever is available and easy.. I don’t have time to plan my diet, but I try to be healthy. So when I have a choice, I choose healthier options. But I don’t limit myself and have deliciousness once in a while :), maybe even more often than once in a while. But in a balance. Never overdoing. No stress.
What are your favorite hang out spots in the city you live in Los Angeles?
My place, my friends’ places, coffee shops, cafes.
What is your favorite city and where do you like to hang out there?
Believe it or not but Los Angeles is my favorite city because I feel home here. I like traveling but I’ve done so much of it that I just want to be home now.
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
First, know for sure if you really want to take this path. Because you gotta take it seriously. You can’t take it half way. It’s all or nothing…Hard work and dedication is a must. Be strong and patient. Don’t let failure discourage you. Don’t give up. Be smart, positive and hard working. Workout, eat well, prepare for constant traveling and changes. Stay humble with your success, and keep your head up if there are failures. There are many clients for your particular look. Impossible for everyone to like you. Don’t let insecurities discourage you. Don’t give up. Don’t compare yourself to other models. The only one you have to compete with every day is yourself yesterday.
