The restaurant is named after and in respect for FRK. Regitze Barner was a kopenhavesk noblewoman who dedicated 16 years of her live, helping young women from, poverty, crime and street life. From 1889 until her death in 1911 she drove in Helgolandsgade 8 a protective home for indigent women. The home functioned until the beginning of the 70 years.
The restaurant her menu is based on this period. This means: The best Danish ravarer, home-cooked food – and plenty of it, as well as traditional dishes and accessories served in family and unpretentious surroundings.
