Debenhams invited me back for Manic Monday and the launch of their Fabulous Fortnight. Apparently, the Brits are going to spend a lot of Christmas dosh today. If you’re in London, pop into the new Debenhams on Oxford Street to check out the new fancy fabulous store.
There is a lot going on:
I met the hubby in the bright Restaurant on 5 for lunch. With high ceilings and loads of light flooding into the restaurant from the massive modern atrium, you can’t help but love the sense of space in this family friendly place. I nabbed some chicken soup in a sweet novelty tin mug and he went for a full roast. Honestly, I can’t win them all, but he reported a two thumbs up for the mid-week roast.
After lunch, I sent the hubby and his full belly back to the office and I grabbed a mint tea then nipped down the escalators into home ware on 4th. I pick up a few bit from Bloomingville. I was invited to the Bloomingville’s in store launch a few weeks ago and fell in love with their style. This tea towel (it just tickled me) and a few uber thin porcelain tea lights just had to come home with me.
I was tempted by a Christmas jumper, but the Beauty Bar was calling. Nails Inc treated me to an express mani, which my chipped winter nails are super thankful for. I also found my perfect Christmas red nail polish, the deep cherry red called Victoria.
To finish off this very ‘ladies who lunch’ day, I met a couple of girlfriends for a glass of prosecco and macaroons in the Bistro, which if I’m being truthful turned into more them one glass and a lot of giggles.
