1. Get Adequate Rest – It Tells More Than You Think

Some of you are masters at pushing through being exhausted with some coffee or energy drinks. While this might work at your job or at the gym, it’s going to create some issues on a date. Even if you’re super sharp when you’re exhausted, your date is going to notice you look tired. Your posture will probably be compromised, you’ll have dark bags under your eyes, and you just won’t have that beautiful skin glow that you have when you’re at your best.

Want to look like you’re in shape and take care of your body? Here’s a news flash. You can’t achieve that in a few hours prior to your date. You can’t even really achieve that in a few days. You don’t have to look like a super model or even a fitness junkie if you don’t want to. Healthy eating can’t negatively affect you in one meal, right? Well, if you’re talking about on your hips or your belly, you are correct. But, if you’re talking about on a first date, you might want to think again. You see, most people on a date are going to pay attention to what you order if you’re having dinner or lunch. If you order a ton of unhealthy food and pig out, they’re probably going to assume you’re an unhealthy person which really isn’t a good look. But, if you order something at least half-healthy, it could earn you some brownie…err, low-cal brownie points. You can still have fun, but just keep an eye on how things are making you look.
