Ok this place is not really situated in the center, but in the Meguro district (famous for its furniture and interior shops and full of little, authentic cafes and restaurants) and definitely worth a visit! This small, cool, boutique hotel only has 12 twelve rooms, nine Western and three in traditional Japanese style. They are all very comfortable and have extremely large beds.
There’s a restaurant, bar, a Japanese boutique shop and a gallery which showcases recent contemporary artworks. The restaurant/bar is lively and frequented by arty, Tokyo types, you could sit here all day watching people. Attached to the hotel, there’s a dog grooming salon which also provides much entertainment.
If you just want to have a casual trip for your own, this can be a great and affordable choice. If you have a busy trip for work, shopping or hanging around Tokyo and mass transportation is important to you, then it’s better to choose another hotel.
Tip 1 : The hotel has amazing electric bikes which you can rent. Such a great way to explore the city!
Tip 2 : This place is very popular and since there are only twelve rooms it’s advisable to book (way) in advance!
