Summer is coming with winter sleeves

Hi everyone, when people see summer-photoshoots they often think the weather is perfect and the outfits sometimes even look too hot for the sunshine above them. Nothing is less true!

Let me adjust that thinking. Not a lot of people know this, but while shooting summer-advertising, it’s usually winter and the temperature can often be around -7 degrees Celsius. And yes, the models on the picture are actually not wearing enough clothes for that at all. So yes, we’re basically freezing for that one perfect shot!

Now I hear you thinking, “What about those winter-adverstisements?”, well… They’ll be shot during the summer. Which means you’ll be wearing a ski-coat while it’s around 30 degrees Celsius outside. So yes, we’re getting overheated… But that doesn’t stop you when you’re doing the job of your dreams though!

So just remember that when you see that perfectly sunny advertising with those cute little tops… That the models on that picture are probably praying for the same weather as you are on that exact moment ;)…

Warm regards,

Charlotte

She played many key roles in the city theatre, did a lot of musical workshops and in 2004 she got her first big roll in a short movie called "Opa Rennt". Eventually Charlotte quit theatre so she could focus on her school career. A few years later she enrolled in the modeling industry. Since she was young she knew that she would like to devote her passion and effort on being a successful model and actress.. All this in combination with her own business for children called Créalier. Her life spirit? "When I was a little girl, I've always dreamed of doing big things. I'm not about to disappoint myself. So, when I'm old and grey I'd be able to tell my grandchildren that their grandmother has been able to follow her dreams, just because she believed in them.
