Sometimes you just have to pull up your socks and do it whether you want to or not. My current status since I’ve been back on my workout regime.
Quite frankly I don’t think working out is always fun because I have to do it, but recently I discovered the ‘Angels’ workout in Amsterdam. I do a combination of Reformer Pilates and Barre. Immensely popular in the US (NY&LA) with (Hollywood) celebs & models. The exercises make you stronger and leaner and the reformer machines give you resistance with weighted springs. The routine activates the muscle fibers to get that long lean and toned body we all want.
After the workout when I bicycle home I’m exhausted and feel my legs burning. I noticed some model friends on Instagram wearing STOX Energy Socks so I wanted to give it a try. Stylish is not the first thing that comes in my mind when I think of compressionsocks but these ones are different. STOX collaborated with a designer of the Design Academy in Eindhoven. The socks are in nice colors and patterns and look completely different than the nude skincolor ones your granny is wearing.
How it works: At first pull up your socks. In the literal sense of the term this means to make an effort to improve your work or behaviour because it is not good enough (yet).
I tested the STOX socks after my workouts and I experience no muscle pain the day after what is great. Your legs feel more relaxed and it gives you a better bloodcirculation.
