When a friend of mine told me we were going for lunch at an Italian place in Soho, I was pretty hesitant at first thinking we were probably going to a pizza-chain like restaurant. Usually an Italian place in the centre is just not that good and completely packed with tourists.

Well… I’m so happy I was very wrong!!

Princi is one of those places you have to visit when spending the day shopping in Soho. Whether it’s breakfast, lunch or dinner this renowned Milanese institution provides an amazing range of pizza’s, antipasti, salads, veggies, quality hand-made & wood-fired breads and Italian patisserie.

In a very stylishly branded open space this is the perfect spot to have a quick lunch while shopping. Ordering with the very friendly and helpful staff at the counter cuts your waiting time down enormously. While sitting down all these cute little Italians are walking around collecting plates and glasses. And the fact that almost the entire staff is actually Italian gives me the assurance that the real Italian love and flavor is given to the food!

And not very unimportant either, their price range is exceptionally good. A large plate with choice of 4 different kinds of veggie or pasta salads is about 7,5 pounds, and a pizza margherita only 6,50 pounds. It’s a must when visiting London!

I finish my lunch with a killer espresso and leave Princi with a smile on my face!
