Besides her life as model, Lynne Gorree also has a passion for horse riding and she’s still in school. She knows perfectly how to combine both worlds and we don’t doubt that’s she’ll make it in the model industry!

Current Location: The Netherlands
Tell us about your career as a model. How did you get started?
It all started for me when I was scouted on Instagram by Zekja. She sent some polaroids of me to a few agencies. Then I visited MaxModels and I really liked it there, so I got signed with them!
When did you first sign with an agency and what was that like?
I first signed with Max Models in Rotterdam. It was really nice. I was really excited to have an agency and the people over there are very sweet.
What is one of your favorite photographs from your career so far? Who shot it?
Until now I have only done one test shoot except for the shoots at the agency with my Booker, So that must be the picture of me in a room with very beautiful lighting and shadow shot by Jolijn Snijders
What is your best model experience ever?
So far I do not have a ‘best model experience’ yet. I am still learning and therefore every experience is nice and special.
What are the main challenges in modeling today?
I think the main challenge in modeling today is being able to keep up your social media. It is already playing a huge role in the fashion industry. Another challenge is that there are so many models nowadays, and you still have to stand out from the rest of them.
What do you enjoy most of your profession?
The things I enjoy most so far is meeting new people and experiencing a lot of new stuff.
How would you describe a model life?
I would describe the life of a model as very busy but fun. You never know what you’re going to get beforehand. I really like that, maybe because I am not the type of girl who likes to sit still all day and have a tight schedule. But as long as I am still in school, I will still have that so I can’t wait to be finished!
Do you think models are able to find long lasting friendships within the industry today?
I definitely think that models can find long lasting friendships within the industry. Part of being friends with someone is understanding each other. And no one can understand a model better than another model.
What is your big model dream?
My big model dream is to open or close a really big show! Also to be on the cover of a magazine.
What is your favorite thing to do when not working?
I really enjoy horse riding in my spare time. But when I’m not doing that, I like to just chill at home and listen to my favorite music.
Take us through a typical day in the life of Lynne.
A typical day in the life of Me isn’t that exciting at all haha! I wake up at around 7 o’clock each morning and get myself ready for school. When I come home at around 3/ 4 o’clock I usually spend some time on my phone or making homework. After dinner, I watch some tv with my family or work on school some more and then I go to bed.
How do you keep your body in good shape?
I ride horses and I go to the gym for about 2 times a week. But luckily I don’t have a lot of trouble staying in shape and food isn’t something I have to pay attention to all day.
What’s your favorite place in the world?
My favorite place in the world is, of course, my home. I really love traveling and seeing new countries but I am always happy to be back home with my family.
Give us 5 fun facts people might not know about you yet.
I have been riding horse ever since I was 8
When I was young I really wanted to become a cook
I am really into reggae and 80’s music
I am not flexible at all (my body, not my mind)
I’m very afraid of sharks
What do you think MODELLIST-ID can do for the model community?
Modellist-ID is very helpful for other models. I love reading other models’ experiences and it’s also really useful because you know what to expect in certain situations. Also reading about hotspots in foreign cities is very lovely for when you are going to visit that city in the future.
Do you have any model friend you would like to see presented on Modellist-ID?
I would love to see Noa Abbenhuis featured on this site!
