Elske Elisen, a beauty from the Netherlands who just started her career as a model. How did she start and what is her big model dream? She tells it all!

Tell us about your career as a model. How did you get started?
At the beginning of this year, I received a message on Instagram from NLmodelmanagement if I was interested in modeling. When I was younger a lot of people say to me that I need to do modeling. But I had never thought that I can do that. When I look around the modeling world I think its something for me. So it started via Instagram thereupon I was scouted.
When did you first sign with an agency and what was that like?
My first agency was NLmodelmanagement at that moment it feels very official, cool and above all very nice. The first weeks I came already so many new things. It’s really a new adventure.
What is one of your favorite photographs from your career so far? Who shot it?
This is a really difficult question because I have a lot of favorite photographs. One of my favorites is the photograph in black and white. It’s shot by Pim van Offeren (see picture below).
What is your best model experience ever?
My best model experience is that you meet new people and places. For a shoot or show your travel to places what I really like to travel and when you meet new people most of the time its cozy and you have a lot of fun.
What are the main challenges in modeling today?
The main challenges in modeling are that you need to live healthy so that you eat properly and sport. And also, of course, have lots of fun during shows, photo shoots, and the whole adventure.
What do you enjoy most of your profession?
That you meet a lot of different people and see places that I never see before. Also to learn from your photographs when I get them back because then you see the things what could be better the next time.
How would you describe a model life?
Hard and interesting because sometimes it’s for me very hard to stay healthy.
Do you think models are able to find long lasting friendships within the industry today?
Yes, why not? It’s also very personally I speak still with models of one of my first photo shoot or shows.
What is your big model dream?
To come to on a cover of a magazine.
What is your favorite thing to do when not working?
To do things with my friends and also listen to music and running in the wood.
Take us through a typical day in the life of Elske.
I wake up and doing my morning cardio for 20 minutes. Then I go to the shower and after I make my breakfast. When I have school I go on the bike to school and after school, I sit on the chair and relax. Then we have dinner and after dinner, I’m going to walk with my dog. An hour later I search the stuff for the next day and go to sleep.
How do you keep your body in good shape?
When I wake up I do in the morning 20 minutes cardio in my room. Also in the night I walk one hour with the dog and listen to music. For my legs is cycling really good so for school I’m on the bike in total 80 minutes. Also drinking a lot of water and I eat a lot of fruit.
What’s your favorite place in the world?
Italy, because the food is really good and you have there really good shops. I really like the sea side because I like to swim and nature is also very nice.
Give us 5 fun facts people might not know about you yet.
One of the 5 fun facts is that I can move with my ears without touching them, I love to listen to music the most of the time I listen to house or Italian music, I like painting with paint or pencils, also I really like to cook than I search recipes on internet or Instagram, I’m very fast curious always wants to know what it is or find out.

I think that people see how model life is and how anyone else experiencing.

Yes, my friend Veranique Scheepstra. She is a really good friend of mine and she is very beautiful. Here pictures are awesome and beautiful. When we’re together we have a lot of fun and doing a lot of crazy things.
