How did you start modeling?
‘At age 19, somebody in the street asked me if I’d like to become a model, he told me he wanted to create an agency…His reasons and explanations were not really clear to me and so I decided to present myself by a famous agency Dominique Models. This was seven years ago and since then they accepted me and now I work for them.’
What does your career do for you?
‘It is a great opportunity in order to meet different people every day; you work with great teams, and discover new places.’
What’s your most memorable shoot?
‘A shoot in Morocco.’
What do you think MODELLIST-ID can do for the model community?
The site can really help out starting models a lot of different industry related aspects and you can read about other models experiences. The site provides really good tips, and share things that are of great interest to other models and read a lot about the `models world`.
Who do you admire and would you like to meet?
`I don’t have an idol in particular…`
What’s your favorite book/film/music?
`My top 3 writers are `Harlan Coben`, `Musso` and `Marc Lévy`. For magazines, I read the Belgian and French Elle and French Vogue. I really like watching films such as: `Drive`, `L’arnacoeur`, `Good morning England`, `Into the wild`… and I listen to different kinds of music…`
What’s your beauty regime?
‘I drink lots of water and tea and I’m making a lot of smoothies in the summer. I’m doing fitness, sometimes I run and I play tennis.’
For my skin, I try to hydrate it a lot, some days off I usually don’t put make up. I mostly use Lancôme and Clinique products. For my hair I like Redken and Klorane.
What are your favorite hang out spots in the city you live in?
‘Near my apartment there is a Parc called ‘’Le Cinquantenaire’’, a place where I run in the summer and where a famous monument is located called; ’ Les arcades du Cinquantenaire’’. At the top of this place you have a nice view of Brussels. If you are up for breakfast or lunch, “Le Pain Quotidien” is the place to go for tasty bio soups. ‘’Cook and Book” is also nice, you have different restaurants in books shops.’
What is your favorite city and where do you like to hang out there?
‘I really like Barcelona, it is a nice city and you also the beach, it is not far from Belgium and the weather is amazing. When I’m over there I always walk in the Ramblas and in Guell Park.’
Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?
‘Just be/stay yourself, and know that it is a part of your life for some years so try to take advantages of this.’
What are your plans for the future?
‘I’d like to continue this job for some years and later create a day nursery.’
