NEW YORK, NEW YORK. The city of dreams. The city that never sleeps. The city I completely fell in love with.
December’15, I was fortunate enough to travel to New York on a dance tour. Dancing in New York.. What more could a girl wish for?
I had the most memorable trip, from walking around and getting confused with the avenues and eventually getting lost to ending up in Times Square at midnight.. New York definitely met all expectations. The experience was incredibly eye opening and worthwhile. But it did make me realize how lazy I actually am. On the first two days I struggled to get out of bed with all the walking done the previous days.
Obviously with taking part in a dance tour, dancing had to be done and shopping had to be put to the side. We were all fortunate enough to attend classes at the most amazing studios in the world…. ( Alvin Ailey & Martha Graham ! ) as well as being able to attend amazing stage productions and incredible dance shows.
As I was a tourist, we obviously had to sight-see and do things out of the ordinary..
We covered almost everything from the moving 9/11 memorial to the never leaving ( and with no money left ) 5th Avenue..
New York was inspiring, warmer than expected and unforgettable.
