What does your career do for you?
‘People say I am a little bit shy, but when I am in front of the camera I feel confident and I really like that. And with beautiful make-up styling and hairdressing it feels even better. My career is a big promise for me.’
When I was younger I was a rythmic gymnast and we had to do some promo shoots for 'Bosco'. This is how I started my career.
'My future plans are really ‘normal’, I don't want to become Brad Pitt or Leonardo di Caprio in a few months time, I just want to work hard and do a lot of editorials, maybe campaigns and I hope to do work more in Paris next season!'
"Modeling has not at all helped me to feel less self-conscious about myself or the way I look, quite the opposite actually, I dare to say. But it did give me confidence to live in different cities all over the world and through my work and travels I have been introduced to some of the most amazing, fascinating and interesting people I have ever met. I have learned so much in those years, which is something I feel extremely grateful for."
What’s your most memorable shoot?
‘With Michel Comte in Saint-Moritz in 2002, we went to the top of a glacier with the helicopter and I was naked in the middle of this landscape. An extreme shoot, but such a nice experience. At the end of the shoot, some climbers joined us. Since that day, I’m never cold anymore. This shoot learned me how to manage cold with breathing exercises.’
What does your career do for you?
‘Modeling became my passion, I can put all my creative sides in it and it’s very satisfying to do a shoot with a great team and book great results. It is also a fantastic opportunity to travel all over the world and meet all those nice creative people.
Who do you admire and would you like to meet?
‘I admire Jennifer Massaux from Dominique, she’s a great model and also a photographer and she designs her sets. Later on I would love to do the same and combine my studies, design, and modeling together.’
'I got discovered at the age of 16 on the Megafestatie, a youth fair, in the Netherland. During the two previous years I also had been scouted but at that particular time I agreed to join the Elite Model look competition. I won the competition in the Netherlands. I first finished my school and after graduating I went to Milan and Paris. I basically started working on a fulltime basis since then.'
What does your career do for you?
‘My career gives me freedom and opportunities. I can see the world, meet amazing people and enjoy my free time with my friends. It also made me very aware of life and living healthy.'
`Healty food! Every morning I eat a spinach shake and organic food. You notice a big difference if your meals exist of vegetables and fruits. Drinking plenty of water is also very important. In terms of cosmetics, I use products of `La Prairie`, mainly their moisture care.`
