After living in Milan for 6 weeks, I can say I’ve become a real Italian girl. Drinking a cappuccino till max 11am, definitely having lunch outside and dinner never before 9pm. 😉 Between my castings I loved to get lost in the streets of Milan, I visited many vintage shops and really loved the concept of Aperitivo!
Now I’m back in Amsterdam again.
Changing my life from castings, shows and shoots back to mainly studying.I’ll still spend a lot of time in cafes with my laptop and of course, although it isn’t an Italian coffee, a delicious capuccino, even after 11. 🙂
Because I really really loved the Italian food, I like to share 3 beautiful places in Milan where you could find me almost every day. Promise you’ll give them a visit for lunch, dinner or just a cup of coffee!!
1. God Save The Food |Via Tortona 34
Simply good food. The menu varies from salads, burgers, vegetarian food and delicious desserts. Specialities I really loved are the hummus with pita bread, veggie club sandwich and the 7 different juices. ‘God Save The Food’ is located in one of the most fashionable streets of Milan. This restaurant is trendy, crowded and has got an open kitchen. It’s a perfect place to have a coffee or lunch and work on your laptop.
2. Gogol&Company |Via Savona 101
This cute library with cafe is the perfect place to read a book, study or work while enjoying a delicious cappuccino. They also have breakfasts and small lunch foods. My favorites are the homemade lemonade an the granola yoghurt with fresh fruit. This place has a nice atmosphere. One part of the cafe is furnished as a library and the other part as a cafe. Great place to escape from busy working days and relax with a good book.
3. Salsamenteria di Parma |Via Collegio dei Nobili 4
If you want good and real Italian food, you really need to go to this place. The food is amazing! You can order many different plates of cheese of meats, but also pastas, salads and great desserts. They also offer a wide variety of quality wines. My favorites are the tortelli with pumpkin, pecorino with honey and the panna cotta. This restaurant has an authentic style and even though it’s a small place, it’s always crowded. Every now and then there’s live music.
