Small and very charming 18th-century town house located in a quiet area, next to the National Ancient Art Museum. It is said that, Eça de Queirós, the famous Portuguese novelist, lived here and the hotel still shows his former presence by immersing themselves in small objets d’art, books, paintings and mementoes of this era.
On the top floor, there is a wonderful library which opens onto a nice terrace overlooking the river. Besides, there is lovely small garden and when the weather allows it, breakfast is served outside. All rooms are different, beautifully decorated, and have nice touches like complimentary port wine. In the bathroom you will find Molton Brown products. The hotel has a honesty bar, which makes you even feel more at home.
