Hi everyone! Not so long ago, an amazingly nice girl called Antje asked me to do an interview about “How to pose for pictures” for a blog of a cute shop in town.. Which, I thought, was a really kind thing to ask me! And, which is also a really cool thing to remember when you would ever need to pose…
Although, I’m not going to rewrite the complete interview… One of her questions is going through my mind for a while now. And even though I’ve been able to answer the question for her, I’d like to give you guys a complete answer to this as well:
“Which three positions are always a good idea when you’ve got a photoshoot on the street?”
1. The “walk” – You put one foot in front of the other and you shift your weight from the front to the back. Because of this, it will look like you’re walking down the street. (And just sometimes… Try to make your clothes fly while walking your fake walk!)
2. Leaning against a wall – Put one foot on the ground and one foot against the wall behind you. Your arms can be crossed or could just hang next to your body. It will look like you’re waiting for one of your friends to come along while you’re enjoying the sunshine and/or the people around you.
3. Sitting on a stair – When you’re sitting on a stair with one foot placed a little higher than the other one, it will look like you’re just chilling after a walk around town… or like you’ve just wanted to spot the people on the street. Of course you can also pretend like you’re having a lunch on the steps of the Met, ’cause somethings, who doesn’t like to pretend that they’re Gossip Girl, right?
Well… Those are some poses to think about while you’re walking down the street and (pretend to) have a photoshoot!
