Trying out a new hair product is always fun! I have big, thick hair and I'm not worried that it has no volume which is a blessing! But this blessing comes with a lot of work since it gets very frizzy with undefined curls. In order to maintain my hair I have tried out some of the products of Revlon Professional. The names of the products are Equave instant beauty enriched hydro detangling shampoo and Equave instand beauty, volumizing detangling conditioner. Both products are Keratin enriched. When I first looked at the label I had no idea what Keratin was.
After a quick search I found out that it is a fibrous protein. Our hair is made up of series of flattened cells that contains Keratin. I assumed that adding Keratin to my hair will make my hair healthier so I gave it a try.
While washing my hair I felt that the shampoo wasn't foaming at all, which was a bit of a deception for me since I like the texture of soapy bubbles. The scent of the shampoo is very nice I have to say and after washing my hair I dried it with a towel and sprayed the conditioner.
Curious to know the result? Well my curls came back with more structure and my hair was less frizzy. This product let me discover a new way of getting my hair silky and it is fun and easy at the same time.
So if I were able to give it a grade, I would give it a big round 8!
