1.How did it all start for Gamila Secret? (starting year, who are the founders, etc.)?
40 years ago in a village called Pqi’in in the north of Israel, I started with Gamila Secret. My father was always involved with the power of herbs and spices. In the village where I was born he was seen as a kind of medicine man. From him I have the knowledge about the herbs. With this knowledge I started my dream “a healthy skin for every person on this earth”. It took 40 years before I found the right synergy between the herbs. In my village people saw me as a village idiot. In their eyes I wasted precious herbs and olive oil. I believed in my soaps and the power of the soap. I did not give up! It was a difficult time for my family. I am therefore so grateful that Gamila Secret is a great success all over the world. I receive many letters every day from users. They write about skin problems that have disappeared by using Gamila Secret. That makes me proud.
2. What is the secret of Gamila’s Secret?
Smiling,… the brand name says it all Gamila Secret. A well-kept secret. What I can say is, I use various herbs and all have different cooking times.
3. How did the company`s philosophy come about?
The philosophy of the company the same as the products .. pure and honest!
4. How would you describe the brand Gamila Secret to our international community?
We are not a company with big marketing campaigns to convince consumers. When a consumer used our product it is always enthusiastic about the result . It is a pure and honest product that sells itself by the quality.
5. What inspires you during the development of new products?
My inspiration comes from nature. I want my skin care line to be easy to use. Some brands continue to expand. An eye cream, a serum, a day cream and a night cream. I do not believe in it. That is commercial thinking. Cleansing you do with the cleansing bar and caring with face oil, .. believe me, you do not need more.
6. Which Gamila Secret product is your ultimate favourite?
I have no favorite. In all my products is my passion. Therefore the whole line is my favorite skin care line.
7. Which product(s) would you truly recommend to our Modellist-ID modeling community?
I recommend the cleansing bar at first, because everything starts with good skin cleansing. After cleansing the face oil is the best, as this product contains everything your Skin need for day and night.

8.What can we see coming up in the next year for Gamila? Any new product launches?
We are busy with a new fragrance for the Face Oil, The Wild Rose Face Oil. This will be a premium product as we used the best quality Rose! Rose is rich in Vitamin C, so very boosting for the skin.
9. Are Gamila Secret products suitable for all skin types?
The products are suitable for all skin types. I hear sometimes that people with oily or combination skin do not want to use the face oil. They think their skin will be more oily. That is just not true! The face oil is just good for those skin type’s. The oil ensures that less oil is produced by the skin. It brings the skin back into balance.
10. We read that a lot of celebrities like Rihanna, Justin Timberlake are using Gamila Secret products and are very pleased with the quality of Gamila Secret, who are your current Gamila Secret ambassadors?
