Burberry hosted an event to celebrate the opening of its new store in Amsterdam last night.
The event, held at the Burberry store in PC Hooftstraat, was attended by over 300 guests including Carice van Houten, Halina Reijn, Valerio Zeno, Cato van Ee, Bracha van Doesburgh, Gaite Jansen and Robert de Hoog.
British musician and Burberry model George Craig performed a live DJ set during the event.
Designed by Burberry Chief Creative Officer Christopher Bailey, the 600 square metre store set over three floors features British materials and themes with enhanced audio and touch-screen technology.
The in-store Burberry Retail Theatre concept enables broadcast of innovative multimedia content direct from the brand’s global headquarters in London to the giant 3x3 in-store video walls.
The new store showcases women’s Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, Burberry Brit, and Burberry Accessories collections as well as the Burberry Childrenswear collection.
Burberry has an existing store on PC Hooftstraat in Amsterdam, which showcases Burberry Prorsum, Burberry London, Burberry Brit, and Burberry Accessories collections for men.
Burberry, founded in 1856, is headquartered in London and a member of the FTSE 100.
I also got invited and so went to the opening together with my friends Elly van Zutphen, Cato van Ee and Cicely Telman. We all went to the event in....beautiful Burberry outfits ofcourse!
