How did you start modeling?

"I was working in a clothing store and there was this customer that I was helping. He bought a few things and then he walked out of the store; I was watching him hesitating to come back. He turned around and he walked right at me, and asked me if I ever modeled before, I told him no, and he wanted to take pictures of me because he had an idea in his head for a long time and I was the one to do it with. So we started shooting for 2 days and the pictures were quite good! So I contacted a few agencies in Holland, and within a week I was in Milan doing the shows."

What does your career do for you?

"It made my network so big and worldwide, I made so many really good friends all over the world!

It made me go to places and see the world in a way that is so rare and not normal.

It also opened doors for me that otherwise would stay closed. I’m currently working as a sales manager for WON HUNDRED a Danish brand. I am stockholder of a very good software product called ATTENDIUM. I would never have these things if it wasn’t for modeling.

It taught me to be on my own, to be happy with myself.

But I think that the most important thing is that, I met my girlfriend during the Amsterdam International Fashion Week, and that we are having a baby!!"

What’s your most memorable shoot?

"That must be the one in China for VOGUE With Jaro my roommate, we had such a hangover, no hangover is the wrong word, we were still under influence of…, we partied till 7AM and then we had to rush home because our pickup was at 7.30 AM! And we had a shoot in some kind of Gipsy Park with human shit and dead chickens everywhere. Right next to the biggest harbor in the whole world, the harbor of Shanghai (nasty place). When we arrived there we instantly started barfing! The shoot took all day till the sun was set. And the weirdest thing is that the pictures were all so good! It’s so weird!"

What do you think MODELLIST-ID can do for the model community?

"They can help you to get in contact with the right people in the city, like promoters for clubs, good bookers, or other influencers. This site gives you the names of good restaurants, and fun things to see. They can make a black list of people you should avoid and places not to go to. And in the end I hope that they can mentally support all of the younger models that just started and are new in the city because sometimes it is a really hard world!"

Who do you admire and would you like to meet?

"Mick Jagger"

What’s your favorite book/film/music?

"New neighbors, The Game, Music deepens on my mood."

What’s your beauty regime?

"NO STRESS!!!

(Day cream: Lamer, Face Wash: Clinique, Perfume: Vetiver – Guerlain)"

What are your favorite hang out spots in the city you live?

"Toscanini (Italian Restaurant)

Club AIR

Jimmy WOO

1 Amsterdam (clothing store)"

What is your favourite city and where do you like to hang out there?

"Berlin: Badenshiff, Cookies, Water gate, Panorama bar, Borchardt.

Stockholm: Nobis hotel, story hotel, riche, kåken, Max Hamngatan

Do you have any advice for those who want to start modeling?

Be yourself! People should like you because you are you!!!"

What are your future plans?

"Being a good father and take care of my family!"
